De qué va la temporada 4 de Doctor Who

Esta temporada supuso una época de grandes cambios para *Doctor Who*, incluyendo algunos que han marcado la serie y la franquicia desde entonces. En particular, en la cuarta temporada, el Primer Doctor, interpretado por William Hartnell, pasó el testigo al Segundo Doctor, interpretado por Patrick Troughton, en la primera regeneración de la historia. Cuando Hartnell anunció su intención de abandonar la serie, a los guionistas se les ocurrió la idea de que el Doctor cambiara de aspecto y personalidad. En 1966, aunque no era raro que los actores cambiaran en series de televisión y películas en emisión, esta fue posiblemente la primera vez que un cambio de apariencia se incorporó a la propia esencia del personaje.
