In 2015, nobody in the production offices on Gran Vía was looking toward Elche. Lola Moreno Marco didn't come through drama schools or pile up failed casting calls in cold waiting rooms. She started with a Musical.ly account and a phone's front camera that barely captured natural light in winter. And she understood the rhythm of homemade editing before many professional editors did.
Her first videos were lip-syncs and precise, millimeter-perfect expressions for the camera. Behind that seemingly effortless charm was a daily technical discipline that built more than ten million followers before she turned twenty.
In 2019, she published her first young adult book, Never Stop Dreaming, testing the publishing market without leaving social media behind.
The film industry was slow to call on her.
In 2023, Sony Pictures tapped her voice for the Spanish dubbing of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The marketing move aimed to bring a young audience back to theaters, a crowd that no longer goes to the box office. That debut at the dubbing mic required her to adjust her tone to the guidelines of a veteran director, without the help of her own facial expressions.
She found that working in a mixing studio is far colder than any live stream on social media.
Her leap to big-screen television came in 2025 with the fifth season of The Edge on Antena 3. A classic set with camera cranes, packed bleachers and a relentless judging panel leaves no room for hesitation.
During the first galas, the clash was brutal.
In the second round of the contest, she missed a aiming challenge, and Santiago Segura gave her a 1 in the votes, leaving her on the verge of tears in front of two million viewers. That episode exposed a vulnerability that social media avoids thanks to the delete-take button.
But instead of leaving the set, she embraced the rigor of weekly training sessions.
She passed underwater breath-holding tests, handled balance exercises with harnesses at great heights and ultimately reached the show's final. Television discovered a tenacious contestant who could hold a shot without edits. Live TV doesn't allow second takes.
Beyond traditional studios, in 2024 she organized the first edition of Lola Lolita Land in Madrid. That event turned an open-air venue into a temporary theme park with mechanical rides and live shows. So the logical next step was to venture into documentary territory.
The family living room replaced the studio.
In 2026, she premiered Pyjamada on the Flooxer platform, produced by Buendía Estudios. The show chose an intimate docu-reality format to bring digital personalities together at her Madrid home, capturing late-night chats in pajamas with no set script.
The production shied away from the visual overload of social media and opted for steady shots with 35mm fixed lenses. The goal was to show panic attacks, the loneliness behind the spotlights and the doubts about how long success on screen lasts.
In its first week, the series racked up more than four hundred thousand views on the Atresplayer digital catalog.
Filming for the season wrapped with forty hours of raw footage captured by three Sony FX6 cameras in 4K resolution.
