History
The History of Fametown, a tribute to the world of movies and its celebrities
In 1996, a young Eusebio Barriga, an amateur web developer, started this project as a small hobby, combining his passion for movies, celebrities and web development.
Back when the Internet was still in its infancy, with table-based layouts (omg), the website drew a huge number of visits and lots of love over the more than 16 years it was active.
A Much-Anticipated Comeback
After a long hiatus caused by an incredible series of disasters and accidents (the entire website was lost), and with Eusebio a few years older, we're back to create a quality tribute to the world of movies and celebrities that still makes us dream today.
Taking us to places we have yet to reach, revisiting historic moments, making us laugh, cry, feel scared, get excited and fall in love with actresses, singers, models and TV hosts from around the world with great talent.
This is a living project that hopes to count on the community's support to help it grow and last.
Looking to the future, using every technology at our disposal to create the ultimate celebrity and movie website in Spanish.
