Siobhan Williams was born in Cambridge in 1991. Her parents decided to move to Calgary when she was only five years old. There she began training in ballet and music before acting crossed her path for good.
Her debut came with the series Heartland in 2010. She played Jamie Lewis for two seasons. It was a low-key start that helped her learn the pace of professional shoots in Canada.
And the gamble paid off.
In 2012 she landed a lead role in Level Up. The Cartoon Network series gave her visibility among young audiences. But her real interest lay in characters with more edges and less color. Before turning twenty-five, she had already worked on productions in completely opposite genres.
The change of pace came with the production of Black Box in 2014. Williams played the protagonist's daughter. The series didn't have a long run, but it helped casting directors in Los Angeles start noting her name on lists of rising talent. Siobhan Williams prefers physical exhaustion to the comfort of the studio.
She appeared in Hell on Wheels in 2015, playing Naomi Hatch. The shoot was tough because of the weather conditions and the physical demands of the script. She used that experience to hone her skills in period productions, where the costumes and the setting shape every gesture.
In 2017 she joined the cast of UnREAL. The series dissected the inner workings of reality shows with unusual rawness. Her role as Tiffany showed she could keep up with fast, venomous dialogue. Cable television demanded a naturalness that Williams had already mastered.
The video game industry came calling in 2022 with The Quarry.
It wasn't a conventional voice role. She had to wear the motion-capture suit to bring Laura Kearney to life. Critics praised her digital performance over that of many veteran actors in the project, thanks to the precision of her facial microexpressions.
That same year she worked on Welcome to Flatch. The mockumentary-style comedy demanded a performance built on improvisation and comedic timing. She signed on for fourteen episodes in the first season. It was a radical contrast after months locked in a motion-capture studio.
In 2023 she joined the universe of The Winchesters. She played Annabelle in a prequel that aimed to expand a franchise with millions of fans worldwide. But Williams has always sought projects where the storytelling matters more than her own public image.
In 2024 came her part in Masters of the Air. The Apple TV+ World War II epic put her under the production direction of Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks. It is a project where historical accuracy outweighs any unnecessary acting flourishes.
She still balances acting with her work as a music composer under the pseudonym Shobee.
In 2025 her schedule included filming several independent short films in Vancouver. She keeps her residence on the West Coast to stay close to the technical production hubs. The production budget of her latest television episode topped ten million dollars.
