For years, TV programmers regarded her as a minor joke from the gossip magazines. The daughter of Isabel Preysler and Carlos Falcó, she grew up in the spotlight and seemed doomed to a supporting role as an aristocratic extra. It took her a long time to realize that her greatest asset in front of the camera was precisely that apparent naivety no one could script.
No one saw it coming.
In 2013, she premiered We love Tamara on the Cosmopolitan channel. That first personal reality show tried to copy the American template of celebrity without a craft, but the ratings were modest and critics tore it apart without mercy. Far from retreating to manage country estates, she bided her time without altering a single comma of her public persona.
Her definitive breakthrough came in autumn 2019. Her signing for the fourth season of MasterChef Celebrity seemed like just another high-society casting pick for Televisión Española. But while her rivals fought for the spotlight with intense speeches, she cleaned quail with an almost monastic calm and made spontaneous comments that sent ratings soaring during every episode.
She won the final against nearly three million viewers and a 25.8% audience share, the highest figure for that season on the public channel.
And the gamble paid off.
After the show ended, she formalized her culinary training by enrolling at Le Cordon Bleu Madrid, where she completed the Grand Diplôme in 2021.
In September 2020, Pablo Motos seated her on the current affairs panel of El Hormiguero. Antena 3 immediately realized that seating a devout aristocrat alongside comedians and journalists created a perfect social media clash. Every Thursday, her opinions on politics, religion or personal relationships generated instant headlines before the commercial break was over.
In 2022, Netflix financed La marquesa, a six-episode documentary series focused on her daily life and the reopening of the El Rincón palace. The production racked up more than five million hours viewed in its first week worldwide, proving skeptics wrong about its reach beyond Spain.
That's when the mainstream networks began competing for her on their payrolls.
In 2024, Telecinco signed her as a judge for the tenth season of Got Talent España after Edurne's departure [cite: 3]. That move meant juggling top-rated contracts with two rival broadcasting groups in the same commercial TV time slot for the first time.
Behind the candid tone lies a meticulous business structure. Her company, T Falcó SL, manages advertising partnerships with luxury brands that reportedly pay more than 25,000 euros for a single post on social media.
In October 2023, the El Rincón palace, inherited after her father passed away in 2020, hit the events market with a base rate of 30,000 euros per day of rental. Maintaining the property requires a fixed outlay of over 100,000 euros a year just for heating, security and gardening.
