Corpus Christi

“Corpus Christi” tells the story of Daniel, 20 years old, who undergoes a spiritual transformation while living in a Juvenile Detention Center. He wants to become a priest, but this is impossible because of his criminal record. When he is sent to work at a carpentry shop in a small town, he dresses as a priest upon arrival and accidentally ends up in charge of the local parish. The arrival of the young, charismatic preacher gives the local community an opportunity to begin healing after a tragedy that took place there.
