Death Note Relight 1: Visions of a God

What would you do if you had a Death Note that let you kill anyone just by writing their name in it? With the Death Note in his possession, student Light Yagami decides to rid the world of evil. But will he become the messiah who saves humanity, or the worst serial killer in history? When criminals start dropping dead, the authorities call on the genius detective L to hunt down the mysterious killer known as Kira. Thus begins a thrilling battle between the two greatest minds in the world, with the fate of humanity at stake. The first of two specials aired on television (the second was L's Successor), summarizing the first arc of the "Death Note" anime and telling the story from the perspective of the shinigami Ryuk.
