She lives on the edge, which brings her numerous problems with men, her job and her friends. All of this, combined with the death of her grandmother, marks a turning point in her life. After being fired, she meets Jaime, a man she falls passionately in love with. She lives a long, rollercoaster romance with him. The relationship ends traumatically. Val, desperate, is on the verge of ending her life. She is immensely alone, has many debts to pay off, and her self-esteem is at rock bottom. She decides to go to work in a luxury brothel.
