Fighting Spirit - Mashiba vs. Kimura

For many years, Kimura, Ippo's “senpai,” has fought to reach the top of the lightweight division, but the title has always eluded him. Finally, now he has an opportunity that may never come again: to become Japan champion in his weight class and claim the belt. His opponent is none other than Ryo Mashiba, an old acquaintance of Ippo from the East Novice Championship, but Kimura is determined. He will defeat Mashiba with the new secret technique he has created … or he will retire from boxing forever.
