Four Weddings and a Funeral

Charles and his friends, all single and unattached, have reached an age where nearly all their acquaintances have gotten married. At one of the weddings, which the group has been invited to, Charles meets Carrie, an American he falls for at first sight. They spend the night together, but never see each other again. They'll have to wait for the next wedding, where Carrie introduces him to her fiancé.
