The Bear

A she-bear trying to reach a honeycomb to satisfy her gluttony is crushed by an avalanche, leaving her cub Youk orphaned and helpless, forced to survive in a very hostile environment. Fortunately, Youk meets Kaar, an adult Kodiak bear who decides to adopt and protect him. Of all the dangers threatening them, the worst are the trappers. Two of them, Bill and Tom, will wage a singular battle against Kaar, especially Tom, who clashes with the great bear several times and makes hunting him a matter of personal pride.
