After years in prison for armed robbery, Jake Blues is released on parole. He leaves prison wearing the same outfit he went in with: a suit, a black hat, and dark sunglasses. Waiting for him at the gate is his brother Elwood, dressed exactly the same. Now, the only home they ever knew is in danger. The St. Helena orphanage needs a large sum of money. The brothers get to work.
