The NeverEnding Story

Bastian Balthazar Bux is an eleven-year-old boy who discovers a book titled "The NeverEnding Story" in an old bookshop, one that holds magical powers. That magic turns Bastian himself into a hero of the never-ending story, where he teams up with Atreyu, another boy, to save the world of Fantasia. Hidden in the attic of his school, Bastian devours this enigmatic book during class hours. It tells of the destruction of an entire world full of fantasy. A mysterious "Nothing" destroys the whole land and all the creatures that live in it. As he keeps reading, Bastian realizes that the salvation of Fantasia depends on him and on whether he can enter the book.
