The Outlaw Josey Wales

Toward the end of the Civil War, a group of Unionists, led by the sadistic Captain Terrill, murders the family of a farmer named Joseph Wales. Driven by hatred and a thirst for revenge, he joins a group of rebels. Shortly after, the war ends, the Union Army offers amnesty to all the guerrillas, and his comrades accept. Anger and pain still burn inside Wales, and he won't surrender so easily.
