Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo are three friends approaching forty, each stuck in a dull routine. It's the middle of summer in Milan, and the heat is relentless. The three hop into a car headed for Gallipoli, where Giacomo is set to marry the daughter of Eros Cecconi, an domineering boss who is also already father-in-law to the other two. The trip comes with an extra task: they must deliver a wooden leg sculpture that Cecconi bought along the way. To make matters worse, they also have to bring along their bulldog, Ringhio, who doesn't seem inclined to make things easy either. The film is co-directed by Massimo Venier alongside the trio, who also lead the cast.
