What Season 1 of Dark Winds

Set in the 1970s on the Navajo reservation of Kayenta in the American Southwest, Tribal Police Lieutenant Joe Leaphorn must solve a series of crimes that, on the surface, appear unconnected. He is joined by Jim Chee, his new deputy who is returning to the reservation for the first time since childhood, and Sergeant Bernadette Manuelito. The three search for the thread that links the cases as the investigation grows more complicated. Faith also weighs heavily on the story, as Leaphorn and Chee are forced to question their own spiritual beliefs. Zahn McClarnon stars as Leaphorn in this adaptation of Tony Hillerman's novels for AMC.
