Cristina calls off her wedding after discovering that her fiancé, Eduardo, is cheating on her with another woman. Now she lives alone in her apartment and looks for a roommate to share expenses. That's how she meets Alejandro, a single man who needs a place to live and falls for her the moment he sees her. Out of fear, he lets her believe he is gay, and that lie holds their living arrangement together. A group of friends revolves around both of them, each with their own romantic tangles. The series blends comedy and drama to show how a relationship that starts as a simple roommate deal becomes complicated.
