What Season 1 of Good American Family
Kristine and Michael Barnett, a married couple from the Midwest, adopt Natalia, a girl with a rare form of dwarfism. They raise her alongside their biological children, and at first everything seems to fit what they thought they knew about her. Little by little, doubts arise about her age and her past, and the family begins to suspect she may not be who she says she is. Distrust settles into the home and strains the couple's marriage. Ellen Pompeo and Mark Duplass play the parents, and Imogen Faith Reid plays Natalia. Created by Katie Robbins for Hulu, the series is told from several points of view, and each character holds their own version of what happened.
