What Season 3 of Grand Hotel

The cholera epidemic that had reached the Grand Hotel took center stage in this last day's storylines. Diego was infected, as were some of the waiters and maids at the luxurious establishment, so doña Ángela, now a lady thanks to Andrés, advised Alfredo to quarantine the area.

And so he did. The hotel manager did so, though not without running into problems with doña Teresa, who refused to close, and with his wife Sofía, who did not want to be locked in and expose their son to the disease. That's how she persuaded Alfredo to leave and start a new life far from Cantaloa. They moved to Santander, where he managed to become mayor.

This move led to one of the most striking twists at the end of 'Grand Hotel'. After becoming a lady and no longer serving as housekeeper, Ángela was asked to become the hotel's new director, a position she accepted, promising to be far more lenient with doña Teresa than Alfredo had been.
