What Season 1 of The Amazing Digital Circus
Pomni, a 25-year-old woman, finds herself trapped in The Amazing Digital Circus, a virtual reality game with a cartoon aesthetic. There she shares her confinement with Jax, Ragatha, Gangle, Kinger and Zooble, all of whom have been turned into cartoon characters. They are overseen by Caine, an eccentric and unstable artificial intelligence who acts as ringmaster and throws absurd adventures at them to keep them entertained. The characters cling to these distractions while carrying their own traumas. The constant fear is losing their sanity and ending up "abstracted," turned into digital monsters.
