Alexa Blair Robertson

Alexa Blair Robertson was born in Miami in 1996. She has Mexican and Egyptian roots (her mother is from Mexico and her father is from Egypt), and that bicultural mix shapes her presence on camera. She didn't set out to chase Hollywood fame but music.

In 2014, she landed her first professional credit on American television. It was the series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. A modest debut, but enough to break into the Los Angeles casting circuit.

And the gamble paid off.

The Weight of the Fantasy Genre

During 2018, she shot Unfriended: Dark Web under the direction of Stephen Susco. The film was shot almost entirely with webcams and computer screens. It was a technical, claustrophobic shoot that grossed $16 million at theaters worldwide.

Her mass recognition came with the world of the living dead. In 2020, she joined the main cast of The Walking Dead: World Beyond to play Hope Bennett. She shot two full seasons in the state of Virginia before the series ended in 2021.

Robertson always says she prefers broken celebrities.

In 2022, she starred in The Long Night alongside Neil Hopkins. It is a supernatural horror film in which she plays Grace, a woman searching for her biological origins. The script called for highly emotional scenes in isolated rural locations.

Production and Sound Recordings

Before filming, she reads the script to get a feel for the rhythm of the dialogue. For her, acting is directly connected to her side as a music composer. In 2019, she released several singles exploring a dark, melancholic pop sound.

Her career doesn't follow a linear path. She alternates between major studio productions and independent projects with modest budgets. As a result, her schedule is usually split between shoots in Atlanta and recording sessions in California.

The industry sees her as a safe bet for suspense.

In 2024, she took part in recording new content for streaming platforms. Her contract for these productions includes strict confidentiality clauses regarding post-production costs. Filming of her most recent television appearance wrapped after 42 working days of intensive work.
