Pelageya Nevzorova was born in Moscow in May 1996. Her entry into professional acting was no accident but the result of four years of training at the Shchepkin Higher Theatre School. There she learned under the guidance of Boris Klyuyev and graduated in 2017 with a technical foundation that put realism ahead of artifice.
Even before finishing her studies, she was already on film sets. In 2017 she took part in the drama Provintsiya and the series Zoloto. These early experiences taught her that television demands a mental agility that classrooms don't always teach.
And the learning was fast.
But her face began to look familiar to the general public thanks to Ulitsa. In this production, filmed between 2017 and 2019, she played Alisa and had to handle a volume of dialogue that exceeded twenty pages of script a day during the most intense days of work.
In 2020 she joined the cast of Voyna semey. The series centered on a conflict of coexistence between two friendly families, and she took on the role of Arina. The project ran until 2021 and allowed her to explore a less dramatic tone that was far more physical. In Russian comedy, humor often relies on the rhythm of silence and body language more than on the dialogue.
During those months of filming, Nevzorova avoided naive, secondary roles. She sought characters with rough edges. So she agreed to take part in productions where the script carried more weight than the look of the shot or the costumes.
The industry began to see her as a safe bet to lead big-budget casts.
In 2021, she starred in Chuzhie grekhi (Sins of Others). In this suspense drama she played a young woman who must confront dark family secrets (a departure that moved her definitively away from the youthful image of her early years). The shoot took place on natural locations that complicated the production's logistics.
Her professional breakthrough came in 2022 with the release of Dva kholma. In this social science fiction series she plays Rada and offers a critical take on a future world dominated by women, where men live on the margins. The show drew massive audiences on digital platforms across Eastern Europe during its first season.
In 2023, she returned for the second installment of this same series. Filming these episodes required a different physical preparation because many scenes were shot outdoors in harsh weather conditions. Still, Nevzorova kept the restrained performance style that has defined her work since her early days in theater.
In 2024, her name appeared in the cast of the film Lyubov so vtorogo vzglyada. On this project she worked under directors who aimed for a more sophisticated romantic comedy tone, moving away from the genre's traditional formulas. The film's budget allowed for a technical production well above the average for independent films of the previous year.
The actress divides her time between film sets and ongoing language training to broaden her options in international markets. Her 2025 contracts include an exclusivity clause for long-running series projects with a minimum of eight episodes per season.
