Duel

David Mann is a middle-class traveling salesman who drives his red Plymouth Valiant through rural California to meet a client. He's an ordinary man, not one for confrontation, and in a hurry to make his appointment. In the middle of a two-lane highway, he passes an old, battered, rusty tanker truck, a Peterbilt that seems to be carrying flammable material. The truck driver doesn't take kindly to the maneuver. He passes David back and won't let him settle calmly back into his lane. The landscape around him is wide, dusty and lonely, and there's no one nearby to ask for help. David will have to decide how to respond to a threat he can barely see.
