Leprechaun

Dan O'Grady returns from Ireland with a bag of gold and tells his wife he stole it from a leprechaun. She doesn't believe him, but when she opens one of the suitcases, the leprechaun pops out and throws her down the stairs. The leprechaun can mimic other people's voices, but O'Grady has a four-leaf clover that lets him control it, so he locks it in a box in the basement. Eventually, people who don't know any better free the cursed leprechaun, eager for revenge and to recover his beloved gold.
