The Royal Tenenbaums

Royal Tenenbaum (Gene Hackman) and his wife Etheline (Anjelica Huston) have separated after having three children: Chas (Ben Stiller), Richie (Luke Wilson) and Margot (Gwyneth Paltrow). Chas, who works in real estate, seemed to have a natural gift for international finance. Margot was a playwright and won a Braverman Scholarship of $50,000 while still in high school. Richie was a junior tennis champion and won the U.S. Championships three years in a row. But all the brilliant memories of the young Tenenbaums are suddenly erased by two decades of betrayals, failures and disappointments, which they blame mainly on their father.
