The Trip

Lars (Aksel Hennie) and Lisa (Noomi Rapace) have lost the love that first brought them together. Now they struggle to keep their marriage and their ambitions alive. Lars's career as a director has stalled in soap operas, and Lisa hasn't landed a role in years. Lars feels ignored, suspects he is being deceived, and is going through financial difficulties. Lisa thinks Lars is a self-centered coward who has let himself go. Nothing in their lives has turned out as they expected, least of all their marriage. That's why a weekend trip to a family cabin in the woods seems to offer them a chance to get rid of each other. For good.
