What Season 1 of Avenue 5

Avenue 5 is a science fiction comedy created by Armando Iannucci for HBO. In a future where travel across the solar system moves millions, the cruise ship Avenue 5 carries its passengers on a planned eight-week journey. Hugh Laurie plays Captain Ryan Clark, a confident and affable man, while Josh Gad is Herman Judd, the billionaire owner of the ship. A technical failure changes course, and the return to Earth is delayed by three years. The supplies only last for the original trip, so the crew must keep order among increasingly impatient passengers.
