What Season 1 of Cape Fear

Max Cady is released after seventeen years behind bars, convicted of the murder of his pregnant wife. He's a brutal ex-convict who hasn't changed and comes out determined to get revenge. His targets are Anna Bowden, the lawyer who defended him, and Tom, her husband, the prosecutor who handled the case. Cady pleaded guilty to avoid the death penalty. The story takes place in Savannah, where Anna works at the SJLP law firm, and kicks off when the ex-convict inserts himself into the couple's life. Nick Antosca created this psychological suspense miniseries, streaming on Apple TV, with Javier Bardem as Cady, Amy Adams as Anna and Patrick Wilson as Tom.
