What Season 9 of Chicago Fire

The season kicks off with the 51 season split apart. After the loss of firefighter Andy Darden, Matthew Casey and Kelly Severide blame each other, and that mistrust fractures the team's loyalty. Still, the crew has to keep answering emergency calls in a city that gives them no rest. On top of the internal tension, a global pandemic forces constant changes to protocols and raises the stakes of every call. Brett, Kidd and Mouch are among the members keeping day-to-day operations running while the team tries to pull itself back together and respond to every call with full commitment.
