What Season 1 of Daria

Daria Morgendorffer moves with her family to Lawndale, a suburb in the United States, and starts high school alongside her sister Quinn. While Quinn fits in right away, Daria watches with irony as classmates obsessed with popularity, teachers, and parents who don't see their own contradictions go by. She soon befriends Jane Lane, an aspiring artist who shares her critical outlook. Together they run into parties, mall trips, and the opening of a school café. Helen, Jake, and Quinn appear in nearly every scene, and their own problems complicate Daria's life, as she says exactly what she thinks, no filter.
