What Season 1 of Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency

Dirk Gently presents himself as a holistic detective and insists that everything in the universe is connected. Guided by that idea, he takes on strange cases and investigates them without conventional methods. The season kicks off in Seattle in the late 19th century, where he meets Todd Brotzman, a bellhop who ends up becoming his companion, assistant and squire. They are joined by Farah Black, an efficient and tough-minded security agent. The three chase one case after another, which gradually seem to intersect within a huge and absurd mystery. Created by Max Landis, the series airs on BBC America and stars Samuel Barnett and Elijah Wood.
