What Season 11 of Doctor Who

Season 11 of Doctor Who is the last in which Jon Pertwee plays the Doctor. Sarah Jane Smith joins the series alongside him in 12th-century England, where the Sontaran Linx convinces Baron Irongron to help him repair his ship. Then, in modern-day London, the city appears eerily deserted, and UNIT fights a series of monsters. Later, the Doctor travels to Exxilon, a barren planet where the Daleks compete with a human crew for a medical mineral, and to Peladon, where a mining dispute threatens the peace. The season also takes the protagonist into a conflict with giant spiders.
