What Season 1 of H2O: Just Add Water

Rikki Chadwick, Emma Gilbert and Cleo Sertori are three fifteen-year-old teens living on the Australian coast. After a nasty prank by Zane Bennett, they get lost at sea and end up on the mysterious Mako Island, where the light of the full moon surrounds them in a pool beneath a dormant volcano. After ten seconds in the water, they transform into mermaids. They keep the secret and share it only with Lewis McCartney, a smart and protective friend. They try to carry on with their everyday lives, but each episode brings new challenges: risky parties, the moon, Rikki's power to make water boil, and Lewis's suspicions as he tries to figure out how it all happened. Emma, a level-headed swimmer, Cleo, the shy one, and Rikki, the rebel, carry the story.
