Synopsis of H2O: Just Add Water
Rikki Chadwick, Emma Gilbert, and Cleo Sertori are three fifteen-year-old teenagers living on the Australian coast. Rikki is a rebellious newcomer, Emma is a sensible swimmer, and Cleo is a shy girl. After a cruel prank by Zane Bennett, an arrogant and selfish local boy, the three get lost at sea and end up on the mysterious Mako Island. There, in a pool beneath a dormant volcano, the light of the full moon surrounds them. Rescued and back on shore, they discover something strange: after ten seconds in contact with water, they transform into mermaids. They decide to keep the secret and share it only with Lewis McCartney, a smart and protective friend. They try to carry on with their everyday lives, although each day brings them new challenges.
