Synopsis of WandaVision

WandaVision is a limited series created by Jac Schaeffer for Disney+, starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany. Three weeks after the events of Avengers: Endgame, Wanda Maximoff and Vision are living a dream life in Westview, a small town in New Jersey. Both try to hide their true natures, as they have extraordinary powers. However, their surroundings begin to change, and the set transforms across different decades and television clichés. The couple starts to suspect that nothing they see is what it seems, and they must find out what is happening before their idyllic life falls apart.

Trivia about WandaVision

Kevin Feige took inspiration from the title of BlacKkKlansman (2018) when naming the series WandaVision, although he initially hesitated to use it.
Jac Schaeffer compared Evan Peters's performance to a mix of Jesse Katsopolis from Full House, Nick Moore from Family Ties and Joey Tribbiani from Friends.
Filming began in Atlanta in November 2019, but production was halted in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and resumed in Los Angeles.
Before this series, the nickname "Scarlet Witch" had never been used in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Elizabeth Olsen drew inspiration from Mary Tyler Moore, Elizabeth Montgomery and Lucille Ball to build her portrayal of Wanda.
The series received 23 nominations for the Primetime Emmy Awards and ended up winning three of them.
The episode titles come from promotional taglines or from television series theme songs.
The name Westview pays tribute to Westfield, Feige's hometown, though with the initials "W" and "V."
