Synopsis of Ghost Whisperer

Melinda Gordon is a young woman from Grandview, New York, who can see and communicate with ghosts. She lives with her husband, Jim Clancy, and runs an antique shop called “Same as It Never Was Antiques.” She tries to live as normal a life as possible, but spirits trapped in the world of the living come to her to deliver a message or complete a task that will let them rest and cross into the light. Many died with unfinished business and cannot leave, held back by their own guilt and fear of being judged. Melinda acts as a go-between for these souls in the earthly world. The series, created by John Gray and aired on CBS, stars Jennifer Love Hewitt.
