What Season 1 of Ghost Whisperer

Melinda Gordon has just married Jim Clancy and lives with him in Grandview, New York, where she runs an antique shop. She can see and communicate with ghosts. Although she tries to live as normal a life as possible, spirits trapped in the world of the living come to her to pass on a message or complete a task that will let them move on. Many died with unfinished business and don't move on because of their own fault or fear of being judged. As a result, the medium faces a wide variety of cases: a Vietnam veteran searching for his son, a little boy waiting by a railroad track, or an evil spirit stalking Jim. Melinda acts as a representative for these souls, and her friend Andrea and her family also get drawn into her powers.
