Synopsis of The Boys
Created by Eric Kripke for Prime Video, The Boys takes place in a world where people with superpowers are celebrated as heroes by the public. They work for Vought International, a major corporation that promotes them and profits from their fame. Away from the spotlight, many of them are arrogant, selfish, and corrupt. Standing against them is The Boys, a group of vigilantes led by Billy Butcher, played by Karl Urban, who hates every superhuman. Jack Quaid brings Hughie Campbell to life, an electronics store clerk who joins the group after A-Train, a speedster from the Seven, accidentally kills his girlfriend. The conflict pits these vigilantes against Vought's star team, led by the violent Homelander.
«Never meet your heroes.»
