In the fictional town of Glenview, Ohio, lives Evan Trautwig, a highly involved community volunteer and the senior manager of the local Costco where he works. His routine, until now calm, is suddenly shaken when the store's night security guard is murdered. The police have no leads and show no interest in continuing the investigation, so the crime goes unsolved. Evan, whose life until then had been free of surprises, refuses to let it go. Ben Stiller plays Evan in this comedy directed by Akiva Schaffer, which kicks off in a very quiet residential neighborhood.
