Synopsis of Loki

Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, an alternate version of Loki, the God of Mischief played by Tom Hiddleston, is brought before the Time Variance Authority (TVA), a bureaucratic organization that exists outside of time and space and monitors the timeline. The agency gives him a choice: face being erased from existence for being a variant of time, or help correct the timeline and stop a greater threat. Loki finds himself caught up in a criminal thriller that forces him to travel through time. His mission is to hunt down a female version of himself named Sylvie. The series was created by Michael Waldron and streams on Disney+.

Trivia about Loki

In May 2022, Kevin Feige announced that Loki was the most-watched Marvel Studios series on Disney+ to date.
The end credits theme for the first episode, "TVA," was released as a single on June 11, 2021.
Loki was originally conceived as a single season, but during the filming of the first one it became clear there was "so much to explore with Loki" and the story could continue.
Before hiring writers or directors, Hiddleston and Kevin R. Wright wrote a 30-page document to define the series.
Season two was filmed between June and October 2022 at Pinewood Studios, and Dan DeLeeuw and Kasra Farahani joined later as additional directors.
Season two earned 10.9 million global views during its first three days on Disney+.
At the 2024 Critics Choice Television Awards, the series received nominations for Best Drama, Best Actor in a Drama Series for Tom Hiddleston, and Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for Ke Huy Quan.
Ke Huy Quan and Sophia Di Martino were nominated for 2024 Television Critics Association Awards for their supporting performances in season two.
