Magnum P.I.

Thomas Magnum, P.I., a decorated former Navy SEAL, returns to Hawaii after his missions in Afghanistan and decides to make a living as a private investigator. He lives in the guest house at Robin's Nest, an island estate owned by novelist Robin Masters, who lets him stay in exchange for something very specific: that Magnum, P.I. star as the hero of a series of novels about a knight-errant inspired by his military past. He is joined by his investigative partner, Juliet Higgins, a former MI6 agent who runs the mansion, and his old Marine friends Rick Wright and T.C. Calvin, who bring their experience to solve the cases nobody wants to take. Between clues and difficult clients, the team tries to get each job done using their own methods. The series, created by Peter M. Lenkov and Eric Guggenheim, airs on CBS.
