What Season 1 of High School of the Dead

In present-day Japan, an unknown pandemic turns people into flesh-eating zombies through their bites. Takashi Komuro, a student at Fujimi High School, survives the initial outbreak along with several classmates. The school building stops being a safe place, and the group has to venture out into the streets to stay alive. Between Takashi, Rei Miyamoto, Hisashi, Saya, Kota, Saeko and Shizuka, a friendship forged out of necessity takes shape. They must learn to defend themselves and work as a team as they make their way through a city in panic. The series, created by Daisuke Satō, airs on AT-X.
