What Season 1 of The Smurfs

The series follows the Smurfs, who live in a hidden village in the Middle Ages. Their houses are shaped like mushrooms, and they all wear white pants and Phrygian caps of the same color. Papa Smurf, the Great Smurf, leads the community thanks to his age and his knowledge of magic, and he dresses in red. The village's peace is shattered by Gargamel, a wizard who shares his home with his cat Azrael and never gives up on trying to catch the blue creatures. His traps keep repeating because he needs the Smurfs to turn metals into gold and to make his Smurf soup.
