What Season 1 of Love
Guy is a sweet guy and Mickey is a shameless, wild woman. Both star in this romantic comedy set in Los Angeles, and the season kicks off with them recovering from nasty breakups. Little by little, they begin to explore what it means to share intimacy and move toward commitment, without quite knowing where it will lead them. The relationship has moments of euphoria, but also humiliation, because exposing yourself too much to the other person stirs up feelings neither expected. Guy faces pressure at work, and Mickey runs into mistakes from her past. Expectations collide with real life, and the series tells it with a down-to-earth tone and no frills.
