What Season 2 of Magnum, P.I.

Thomas Magnum lives in Oahu, in the guest house at Robin's Nest, an oceanfront estate owned by writer Robin Masters. Masters barely appears and is only heard from now and then. Magnum stays there in exchange for his security expertise, though the two share an earlier debt. He takes on all kinds of cases and gets around in the writer's red Ferrari 308. He is joined by Higgins, a difficult ex-military man, and his friends Rick and T.C., with whom he shares the investigations. The cases take Magnum from the search for a missing sister to a murder on the beach and the kidnapping of a wealthy businessman.
