What Season 2 of Maxton Hall – The World Between Us

Season two picks up after the betrayal that broke up Ruby and James's relationship. She just wants to get back to her old life, when she could fly under the radar at Maxton Hall, and tries to shut down her feelings for him. James, full of regret, will do whatever it takes to earn back her trust. Ruby has to organize the Campbell gala, but James's return complicates everything. Later, James's father forbids him from seeing her, so the two decide to keep their relationship a secret, which is put at risk by a white party hosted by Elaine. Mortimer crashes a romantic evening at the Beaufort villa, and a message from Alice Campbell threatens Ruby's dream of getting into Oxford.
