What Season 2 of Monty Python's Flying Circus

Six British comedians, Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Michael Palin and Terry Gilliam, set out to make a show for the BBC that is unlike anything else on British television. Each episode is a series of sketches with no fixed format, with live scenes linked by Gilliam's animations. No sketch follows the one before it, so viewers never know what comes next. The comedians draw on absurd situations and everyday British life to satirize politics and professionals. Their targets include journalists, a ministry dedicated to ridiculous walks, a blackmail game show and a café turned into a stage.
