Monty Python's Flying Circus: Season 3

1972 · 13 episodes · ★ 7.3

What Season 3 of Monty Python's Flying Circus

Six British comedians, Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Michael Palin and Terry Gilliam, bring a bold idea to the BBC: a show unlike anything else on British television. The format has no fixed script. Each sketch starts from absurd situations and from observations of everyday life in Britain, with satire aimed at politics and professions. The sketches share no storyline, so viewers never know what's coming next. Live-action scenes are linked by animations by Gilliam. Episodes feature sketches such as the trial of a serial killer, the cheese shop, and the contest to sum up Proust.
