What Season 16 of MythBusters

Special effects experts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman work in Hyneman's workshop with their team to examine urban legends, popular beliefs and pop culture claims. Each idea goes through the scientific method: they build devices, test materials and, if needed, travel to other locations. Hyneman plays the serious one and Savage the comedian, and together they form a comedy duo. Robert Lee narrates the series. The early episodes tackle whether a flaming arrow can ignite a gas tank, how to stop crying when cutting onions, and whether a high-powered water jet can lift a person. The goal is to tell which ideas hold up and which are simply passed around by word of mouth.
