What Season 4 of Shetland

Thomas Malone walks free after 23 years in prison, once his murder conviction is overturned. His return to Shetland coincides with a recent case involving a local journalist, so Jimmy Perez and his team must investigate both matters at once. Perez, who came back to the islands to protect his neighbors, also has to reopen the case of Lizzie Kilmuir, a 1994-year-old teenager. The inquiries lead him to two feuding families whose conflict has divided the entire community. Douglas Henshall plays Perez in a series that combines police drama with a portrait of a small island community.
